Would you be willing to hear about it if it goes against conventional wisdom?

Would you be ready to challenge some of your thinking about education?

Would you be willing to question the 'experts' if I could show you that you have been innocently led astray?

I am here to help bring understanding to what may be feeling like an insurmountable problem. I have found wisdom and answers and I am here to share them with you!

There are a myriad of options which have likely not been conveyed to you, as these are outside of your child's current school 'system' and therefore not an open subject of discussion.

For decades - nay more!! FOR AS LONG AS THE INSTITUTION OF FORMALIZED SCHOOLING HAS EXISTED there have been great minds who have warned us of the downfall of the system of education found in the western world.

I am not even suggesting to oppose it - only to decide to be willing to look at how it may be failing YOUR child! and consider available alternatives.

Einstein is quoted as having said: "The greatest detriment to my
intelligence was my education
". It's no wonder! read
on.

Current brain research, decades of anecdotal findings, and even earlier research have found that schooling is not the optimal environment for learning that which we say we want to teach. I would argue that it is the optimal environment to create the results that we are seeing; the violence, boredom, suicides and dropouts, teacher burnout, student rebelliousness, high failure rate, and so on.

Is this the goal you have for your children? Somehow I don't believe so.

We cannot continue to teach without taking into account our humanity, our individuality, and our driving desire to be loved, nurtured, and respected; we are born with voracious minds that thirst for knowledge and for interaction with our environment, with a deep desire to explore and deconstruct everything - in order to understand its basis, and all its interconnectedness.

You KNOW this when you watch a child growing, observing, and learning from his environment.

Did you know that research has shown that if you never bothered to teach your child a thing before the age of 8 or 9, he or she could learn in a couple of weeks what they have been 'schooled' since kindergarten.

Un-schoolers (home-schoolers without curriculums who believe that learning comes naturally and therefore use their everyday environment as the foundation for learning) have found something even more astounding; if you never do anything but read to your child, your child will learn to read!

What urgency is worth depriving them of their childhoods?

I have much more to say, I have links to other resources, books, etc. all information you can research yourself and from which you can draw your own conclusions.

All of these will soon be available in a booklet entitled "No Less Than Greatness" for which I will charge a small fee in order to fund my work; that of on-going research (informal), and the creation of a Learning Center based on the new truths about learning; offering the possibility of teaching young people how to reach for the stars instead of the rat race!
